Jardin Magique - Original Art Work

when l saw this photograph of this buiding and its garden it transported me back to a favorite story as a child " the secret garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett" l just had to paint it, with my own twist on it, there are secrets in every garden waiting to be told, to be discovered, to be written, a child like creative mind, wondering with imaginary friends full of innocence on adventures. I wanted to transport the viewer back to innocent times, of laughter and giggles to wonder through this piece and imagine what secrets are waiting around the back of the building, or under a branch that becomes a tent hanging out with teddybear friends having a picnic , sailing flower boats in the lake. The imagination is endless l pray you will find your inner child in this.
